  • Tiny Tots Summer Storytime: This summer the Borden Public and Military Library is proud to offer bilingual Storytime to pre-school aged children. Storytime will be conducted selected Tuesdays and Fridays in July and August, bringing stories, activities, songs and a healthy dose of fun to your tiny tots. It's free, and no pre-registration is needed. For more information please contact your library staff.
  • Handicraft Corner: Bring your children to the Handicraft Corner at the Library, and spend some quality time among our books, magazines, CDs, videos, Community Internet, and Computer Centre, while the kids have fun learning new crafts. Handicraft Corner will be open selected Tuesdays and Fridays in July and August. Contact the Library staff or watch the Borden Citizen for details.
  • Keep Them Reading: This new two-week programme for 2001 is designed to help graduates of Grades 1 to 3 protect and polish their reading skills during the summer break. Participants will spend 3 hours daily practicing reading and grammar comprehension using printed texts, computers and games. This year, the programme is offered in English only, during the months of July and August. There is a modest fee, and pre-registration is required.
